EQUINE REHABILITATION COURSES

Courses can be organized for presentation internationally and within Brazil. Content provides a broad view of the types of therapy used for equine rehabilitation.
Program:
The Equine Rehabilitation courses include a comprehensive and complete interpretation of each type of therapy used in equine rehabilitation. Topics include detailed descriptions (with illustrations of case studies and scientific background) of each type of therapy: what are the techniques, how does each work, indications and contraindications. Biomechanics is studied to understand the origin of sport-horse lesions. Basic concepts toward the healing process are key components of each course, and more specially what to use during each healing phase. Treatment topics presented include: massage, stretching, therapeutic exercise, kinesiology, proprioception, therapeutic laser and ultrasound, electrical stimulation, iontophoresis, pulsing magnetic fields, and shock wave.
Duration:
Courses can be arranged between two to six days in duration
